Let's go back a little!

 Hey everyone!

I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far!  You can make it!  Just a couple more days till break!  I think today I'm going to take you back to the summer.  When I first started this crazy blogging journal then stopped because I was pretty much writing to myself!  But during spring (because of the shutdown) and throughout the summer I tutored my nephew who was going to be starting kindergarten.  What a wild year for that!  

Nerf Hunt:

 All little boys LOVE nerf guns!  I would NOT use a Nerf gun at school.  But you can use a laser pointer.  Actually he liked that better than the gun!  He would find the letter and then draw it in the air.  So with this game I give you both uppercase and lowercase cards.  Students walk around and either find the letter with a laser pointer or a nerf gun.  There are a bunch of recording sheets to match.  My nephew loved checking boxes, so once he found a letter he checked off the picture that went with it.  Included are upper and lowercase handwriting with just lines and no tracing and also uppercase and lowercase writing with tracing!

And then today I whipped up this little Christmas activity Christmas Beginning Sounds and Spinner.  The spinner has letters and the color page has pictures.  The student spins the spinner and the letter it lands on they have to find the picture that begins with that sound.  Then color in that part of the picture.
